Clarifying & Differentiating HOA Resident Email Address Registration from the Yahoo Email Groups

The Yahoo Email Groups were created by Residents, (not your VMR HOA), as a Resident-to-Resident communications tool).

We would like you to be aware of the following important information:

     - Your VMR HOA Board is not a formal part of any of the Yahoo Email Groups.

     - Your VMR HOA Board will never post or distribute any HOA-to-Homeowner, or Homeowner-
to-HOA related items, on any of the Yahoo Email Groups, in an effort to avoid exposing our
Residents to unwarranted or unwanted Junk Mail or Spam.

     - Any VMR Emailing received by Residents through the Yahoo Email Groups has been copied and
forwarded through that system by a Resident, and not by your VMR HOA Board.

     - Your VMR HOA Board will never share or post your VMR HOA-Registered email addresses
to any public messaging system, (such as Yahoo, MSN, Gmail, etc).

Please don't forget - all of these Free Public Email systems exist for one reason,
  Marketing.

They all offer you free email addresses, (primarily to get your email contact info),
then they advertise to you themselves every time you visit, as well as then selling
your email addresses to any Marketer willing to pay for them.

  (Just something to think about!)

In Closing:

If you are a member of any of the Yahoo Groups, but have not registered your contact information with VMR through the Homepage link, you will not receive any electronic, spam-free, VMR-HOA-specific information.

Resident-to-Resident communications through the Yahoo Groups will remain a separate, Non-VMR-HOA-involved independent activity.

Homeowners who do register their contact information with VMR, are doing so strictly for HOA-to-Homeowner and Homeowner-to-HOA communications. This communications system will always remain a private, in-house, spam-free system.

We value and respect your contact information privacy, just as we value our own, and will never share it with anyone or post it to a public messaging system.  If you have any questions or concerns about our email policies or procedures, please feel free to contact any of your VMR Board Members.
