We just got a letter from the property managers telling us we needed to paint our house. The letter states After inspection your house is in need of painting. There are things like trim boards that are flaking and the body surfaces and garage doors are faded. I was pretty amazed to see what the letter had to say especially since the house was painted just two years ago. After I cursed a bit I headed outside. I could not see any flaking on the trim anywhere around the house. All four sides are the same shade of color as they were two years ago. Either the inspector was smoking something or is out to drum up business. This is both a disgrace and an outrage. Did the board do any quality control checks on the contractors results before sending these letters out. Inquiring minds would like to know.
